A Place to Worship, Grow and Belong

From CAC King’s Court, Bolton

Finding a church can begin with a simple question: Will there be a place for me? Behind that question may be a move to a new town, a desire to return to faith, or a quiet longing to know God more deeply.

At Christ Apostolic Church King’s Court, Bolton, our vision is to be a Christ-centred, prayer-driven, kingdom-minded community transforming Bolton and beyond. That vision shapes the kind of church we seek to become: a people learning to follow Jesus together.

A place to worship

Christian worship turns our attention towards God. We gather to praise him, pray and listen to his Word. We bring both gratitude and need, trusting that we can approach God through Jesus Christ.

You do not need to arrive with every question answered. If you are exploring Christianity, a Sunday gathering can be a place to listen and begin a conversation.

A place to grow

Faith grows as we learn to receive and practise the teaching of Scripture. James 1:22 calls believers to be doers of the Word. The question is not only what we have heard, but how that truth changes our choices.

Growth can take ordinary forms: learning to pray honestly, choosing forgiveness, keeping a promise or asking for help. We want biblical teaching to equip people for the realities of home, work and community.

A place to belong

The picture of the church in 1 Corinthians 12 is a body with many members. People do not all have the same gifts or responsibilities, yet each has a place in the life of the whole.

Belonging takes time. It grows through conversation, shared worship and practical care. If you are visiting for the first time, introduce yourself to a member of the church or speak with a leader after the gathering. We would love to meet you.

A faith that reaches beyond Sunday

Jesus connects love for God with love for our neighbour in Matthew 22:37–40. Church life therefore reaches beyond a meeting. Our faith should shape how we treat people, serve others and respond to needs around us.

We are still growing into this calling. Our hope is that people encounter a community willing to learn, pray and serve together.
