Safeguarding
Contact information for raising concerns about the safety of children and adults.
Our commitment
King’s Court seeks to be a church where children and adults are treated with dignity and concerns about harm are taken seriously.
Church safeguarding contact
Pastor John Femi Adeyinka
Email: cacbolton@gmail.com
Use the subject “Safeguarding concern” and ask for a conversation. Keep your initial email brief; do not send detailed allegations or sensitive documents through the general prayer form. The mailbox is accessed by authorised people within the organisation and is not monitored continuously.
If someone is in immediate danger
Call 999. For non-emergency police matters, call 101. See the official police contact guidance.
Reporting outside the church
You do not have to report through the church first. If you are concerned about a child, contact the children’s social care team at the child’s local council. See GOV.UK guidance on reporting child abuse.
If your concern relates to the church safeguarding contact or another church leader, do not rely solely on the church mailbox. You can contact the appropriate statutory authorities directly.
Children’s arrangements
The Children’s Department coordinates children’s arrangements. Ask the team about arrangements for your child when planning a visit.
Privacy
Website enquiry information is explained in our Privacy Notice. Safeguarding concerns should not be submitted as public prayer requests.
